I want this print so badly. It's just about the cutest thing I've ever seen.

And I just can't get enough of this wedding.

One of my good friends just lost her kiss-virginity (and make out-virginity) on the beach at night in Costa Rica, with a hot local boy who barely spoke any English.

What a great first kiss story. Better than something like, "in the parking lot at Dairy Queen" like most people's.

5 Things I'm Loving Today

1. Sonic's happy hour
2. Forest animals (I got the above fabric last week. I love it)
3. All things peach colored
4. Whoever styles Tim Burton's movies
5. Summer fruit (watermelon! strawberries! nectarines!)

1 Thing I'm Not Loving Today

1. Jon and Kate Gosselin. Kind of want to punch them in the face.

I want just about everything from the etsy store Kissing Knees (such a cute name!)
I think this hairpiece is particularly lovely.

I can't get over the complete and utter awesome-ness that was this wedding. I am so sad that I wasn't there. I've been waiting to see this wedding since I saw their engagement pictures months ago. I love how they used to same theme.

I don't know if I'm allowed to post the pictures and I don't feel like asking, so just go look right now. You will not be disappointed.

I'm playing this song on repeat today. Regina is so very good.

Danni of oh, hello friend has a very lovely blog, which just turned 1! woohoo!
So now she's hosting this amazing giveaway, with a lot of great stuff.
You should probably enter (or not, and give me a better chance of winning. Either way).

I love the styling of the groom of Tec Petaja's latest project.

I've lately become very interested in men's style. I think it's because not enough guys out there really take advantage of the great options they have. In my opinion, it's quite easy to be stylish for guys. I just care more about guys looking good than girls looking good, for some reason.

I feel like with most weddings, people put more emphasis on the girls and just stick the guys with ill-fitting rental suits. I care more about my [hypothetical future] husband looking hot on our wedding day and me looking hot. But that's just me.

I picked up this book at the library the other day. I had seen it before and was very intrigued. It's a fun book, I recommend it.

Because of it, I started to read the Little House in the Big Woods. Hot dang, y'all. Caroline Ingalls was freaking amazing. I mean, Charles Ingalls was really cool, shooting bears and building cabins and whatnot. But Caroline made butter, cheese, and all sorts of other cool things. The thing that particularly fascinated me was that she made straw hats. SHE MADE THEM.

I'm not saying that those times would be fun to live in. I am so used to heat, electricity, and my livelihood not burning in fires or being ruined by droughts...but I can't help but think how cool it is that that sort of thing was normal back then. It makes me sad how making things yourself is not so prevalent.

My friends don't get my crafting love. It's the neatest thing to make something useful for yourself. It is so rewarding. I'm so glad I have it.
So, this guy I know crocheted a little bit of my blanket for me tonight.

In case you were wondering...

yeah, it was one of the hottest things ever. Not gonna lie.

I would love to get this for a wedding gift over plates or sheets or toasters anyday. Who needs toast when you have a cozy, heartfelt, handmade gift from a loved one?

Peach seersucker.

I don't know if I've ever heard any words so perfect.

I'm loving anything peach these days, and this is the perfect dress for summer. Major lust over here. I'm imagining it with a brown leather bag and white sandals, maybe? Oh yes. That would be so lovely.

This guy made his wife's wedding dress.
Who does that?!
Obviously, he does. And he is awesome for it.

I don't know why I love these dishwares so much. But I do. Oh, I do.
My granny has a few pieces of them, a snack tray, some custard cups, maybe a few plates, and she said I can have them! SO EXCITED.
I wouldn't mind if these were the only dishwares I had.

My current favorite idea for a kitchen is similar to what Ana in Stranger than Fiction had, a kind of turquoisey colored wall, that black and white checkered floor. I would also have an orange standmixer (and Kitchenaid apparently now has orange measuring cups and such too!) and these plates.

I love colors!

Dear wedding dress designers:
WHY DO YOU NOT HAVE ANY FREAKING DRESSES WITH ANY FREAKING SLEEVES.
Surely, I'm not the only one who does not feel comfortable without sleeves.
So then you make beautiful dresses without sleeves that I love, but cannot wear.
Sigh.

Anyway. Here are some of these said dresses!

from Once Wed. I love this dress. I love lace, I love chiffon, I love flower things, I LOVE IT. And $750 isn't too bad! If I were engaged and had this woman's body, I would definitely be getting this.

also from Once Wed. I don't know anything about designer dresses, but apparently this one is one and it's only $800! And it's gorgeous! And it doesn't look weird like most designer dresses do! Why has no one bought this dress yet?

from unique-vintage. If you were having the right kind of wedding, this would be great.

Melissa Sweet via Kleinfeld. I LOVE THIS DRESS. AHHH. If I could let myself spend a lot of money on a wedding dress (and if I were okay with no sleeves, as mentioned before), I would get this one.

I would love to have like, everything from etsy seller Belle and Boo.
I am a sucker for all things cute, especially when they involve little kids and forest animals! (Except I don't like those little pictures of little kids kissing...those are kind of creepy).
So, I love Polyvore. It has allowed a girl like me (who has no photoshop sort of program or knowledge of such things) to make inspiration boards! I was jonesing to actually see all the individual pictures I loved put together.

woodsy wedding by floral

If I were to have a wedding in the woods, this is the sort of thing I'd do. They're quite similar, but the first one is more by the lake and the second is more in the middle of the woods, even though I put that lake picture in there. Also the first one is a little bit more fancy to me.

If I had it in my parent's backyard (which is an idea that I like a lot) I'd have it more like this. A few of the same pictures, because I basically have one idea that I would slightly change depending on the surrounding.
